A new landmark in the cityscape

Hamar municipality gives the mural as a gift to the Kirsten Flagstad Museum for the 125th anniversary. There were three artists who had been invited to come up with their own proposals, and the jury ended up choosing Anna Louise Andersen's mural.

On Thursday nov 19th we had a dignified and beautiful unveiling of the mural between Strandstuen and Smia. The painting is by the artist Anna Louise Andersen! Mayor Einar Busterud, Anno museum director Sven Inge Sunde, department director at Domkirkeodden Magne Rugsveen, Randi Kongsli from Hamar municipality, Kirsten Flagstad Festival chairman Lage Thune Myrberget, museum chairwoman Annika Engelhart and chairman of Kirsten Flagstadmuseets Venneforening Christian Diseth were some of the guests.
