Norwegian opera singer Knut Skram.

Knut Skram is also one of the leading Norwegian opera singers of our time. He, like Terje Stensvold, has been a leading force at DNO for many years, but has also had guest appearances in the Nordic countries, Germany, France, England, Spain, Italy, Russia, Israel, Japan, Libya, Argentina, USA, Canada and the South -Africa.

He has been a widely used festival singer, and for nine seasons he was to be found in Glyndebourne. His cast list includes more than 50 roles. He is described as "a virtuoso Mozart / Rossini baritone, a supreme Verdi / Puccini interpreter and as a significant Wagner and Strauss interpreter". In addition, he is also an outstanding romance interpreter. Knut Skram has held many public positions, been a widely used juror and has received several awards. He is appointed Knight of the Order of St. Olav.
