Else Marie Jacobsen (1927 - 2012)

Norwegian textile artist. She started her career with production of textiles but quickly switched to tapestry. Her first order was Haugtussa (1955), a tapestry Kirsten Flagstad ordered for her home in Kristiansand. This tapestry was her last work and the original is owned by Sparebanken Hedmark and can be seen here in Hamar.
