Laura Hovland (1883 - 1973)

Norwegian artis. Educated at the National Academy of Fine Arts, Christiania, by Christian Krogh and Halfdan Strøm.
The painting does not have an exact date, but it was on display in the Artists' House, Oslo, in 1941. This portrait was one of two who was found in an apartment in Oslo which had been untouched since the late 1960'.
